10/27 Theme and Magic Item!

Glad to have you stopping in to the old trivia page.  This weeks theme is PRODUCT SLOGANS, and so naturally the Magic Item is... a CANDLE.  It must be a solid wax candle to count for points and, I have to specify this; it can't be an image of a candle, it needs to be the genuine article.

Come to Meghan's before 7:30 for good seats, sign ups and challenges begin at 7:30, trivia questions start at 8:00- see you then!

Well hello stranger, and I most likely mean that in the literal sense.  Thanks for checking up on your favorite trivia night page.  Below is the info you need to prepare yourself for Thursdays amazing trivia

• The theme is "SEX IN MUSIC" There is no shortage, even Lawrence Welk has some sassy licks he breaks out when the mood is right.
• The Magic Item is A BOOK OF MATCHES
• Remember that this is the FINAL week of the tournament which means DOUBLE POINTS!   (And we are giving out trophies...)
• Come up with CHALLENGES for me.  Beat me head to head and get your team 4 points!

10/13 Theme and Magic Item

...and we're back.  I hope you had a tremendous week and maximally enjoyed the amazing weather we have been having recently.  Regardless of your weather enjoyment though, I call upon you to join in a battle of wits and trivial information this Thursday!

This weeks theme is SYRACUSE UNIVERSITY FOOTBALL Since they are winning games I will jump on the bandwagon and celebrate this team, because it's good for us.

The Magic Item is AN ACORN.  Also known as an "oak nut",Actually I'm not sure if it's known as that, but it's funny to call it such.  They are aplenty these days if you can find yourself an oak tree!

And REMEMBER  if you can BEAT BRIAN in a challenge of your choosing (I am amorous for alliteration) you can earn 2 bonus points!  Sign ups and challenges start at 7:30!  See you then!

10/6 Theme and Magic item

...And it's Thursday again!  Finally trivia night is here and you can be rewarded for all of that stuff no one want to know you have in your head. Well, maybe keep some of that stuff in your head to yourself.

This weeks theme is THE HUMAN BODY!  I presume you have one at your disposal, so I presume you are something of an expert on it, find out how much you really know on Thursday!

the Magic Item, that little thing that will earn you 2 bonus points for bringing in, is AN ORANGE PRESCRIPTION BOTTLE.  If those pills do nothing else for you, let them bring you bonus points.

Remember to think of a clever CHALLENGE, if you can BEAT BRIAN, you'll win yourself another 2 bonus points!  Challenges go from 7:30-8pm, then it's trivia time.  For more info on challenges, see the earlier post.
